How to Install potrace software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

potrace software package provides utility to transform bitmaps into vector graphics, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install potrace

potrace is installed in your system.

Make ensure the potrace package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep potrace *

You will get with potrace package name, version, architecture and description in a table
